3ie Humanitarian Assistance Thematic Window Impact Evaluation of WFP Programs Targeting Moderate Acute Malnutrition in Humanitarian Situations in Chad.

The database contains information on 1,981 children age 6-59 months from the Bahr El Gazal region of Chad. The children were measured in June (baseline) and November (endline) of 2016. The dataset comprises an intervention group of children 6-23 months who received BSFP (Blanket Supplementary Feeding Programme) from WFP, and a control group of children 6-23 months who did not receive any BSFP. Furthermore, the dataset contains information on siblings age 24-59 months. For each child, the dataset contains baseline/endline measurements of anthropometric variables (height/weight/MUAC/presence of oedema) and a set of survey questions on household characteristics and composition, housing and household equipment, revenue and expenditures, food sources, child’s food consumption, and access to services (health care and nutrition, water and sanitation facilities).
