A Georeferenced Incident-Level Road Traffic Crash Dataset for Nigeria (2015–2024)

This is an artificial intelligence (AI)-ready dataset of road traffic crash (RTC) incidents in Nigeria extracted from RTC news reports published between October 2015 and  July, 2024.  It contains 797 incidents and 23 features (variables) grouped into the following feature catgories:  Temporal Spatial Human Impact Contextual information Collision type Collision effect temporal Causal factors: Driving Behavior Traffic violations Environmental conditions Vehicle conditions Other causes Physical Road/site attributes Vehicles involved Goods type Road users The dataset is a valuable resource for researchers,  policy makers and industry professionals interested in road safety, road traffic crash, artificial intelligence and emergency response.
