Agriculture and allied activities are among the key economic activities inKenya’s economy. The primary sector is the backbone of all underdevelopedand developing countries in the African region. Kenya is the most prominentcountry, growing rapidly in sectors like agriculture and dairy farming.Under the guidance of Dr. Mukesh Chahal, I, Ritu Dahiya, have conductedthis study, provides an analysis of the existing state of the agriculturalsector with highlighting the geoclimatic agricultural zones of the nation.The challenges faced in the agriculture sector are analysed, contributingtowards mitigation efforts for sustainable development of agriculture inKenya.
