A Systematic Scoping Review Protocol on HIV Prevention Interventions Targeting Adolescent Males in Sub-Saharan Africa (2000–2024): Informing Intervention Design.

The objective of this scoping review is to assess the evidence related to HIV prevention interventions targeting adolescent males (ages 11–17) in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on effectiveness, theoretical frameworks used, and implementation barriers and facilitators, to inform future intervention design. We will include studies published since 2000 for this is the period that was marked with a lot of focus on HIV related care and treatment.
