A dataset of 3454 leaf images of Acacia senegal plants grown in the greenhouse was created for the training of ML models. The plants were grown under regulated conditions for three months. The imaging of control plants grown at 28°C and other optimum conditions without any abiotic stress was started on the day 31 and was done once a week up to the completion of the day 60. Drought stress treatment was started on the day 45; heat stress and heat+drought stress treatments were started on the day 61, and all these stresses were stopped on the day 85 of plant growth. The imaging of stress-treated plants was done every 5th day after the day 60 of plant growth and up to the day 85. The leaves at 4th position from bottom to top on the stem were considered throughout the imaging period to ensure uniformity of the dataset. For imaging, Canon EOS R6 Mk 2 camera with a 24.2 MP resolution, 24-105mm f4 lens, and 105 mm focal length was used. All photos were taken in auto mode with autofocus and stabilisation in outdoor light and cropped in a 6:6 ratio within the camera. These are top-down images with black cloth as a background.
