This Dataverse hosts datasets related to Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP) surveillance in Ethiopia, developed as part of a collaborative research and public health initiative led by Jimma University in partnership with national and international stakeholders. The datasets integrate information from routine public health surveillance systems, laboratory reporting, community-based surveillance, and mobile data collection tools (including the PolioAntenna application) to support epidemiological analysis, outbreak detection, and evaluation of polio surveillance performance. All datasets made available through this Dataverse are de-identified and shared in accordance with approved ethical protocols. Access to files may be open or controlled, depending on the level of sensitivity, and is governed by a Data Usage Agreement (DUA) to ensure responsible use, protection of participant privacy, and compliance with institutional and national data governance requirements.
