Chapter 5 focuses on adjective. Adjectives in Kwom are characterized by gender and number marking but not case or definiteness. The morpheme –(í)p, –(í)r and –(í)n are inflected to express feminine, masculine and plural neuter gender respectively. Adjectives suffix both gender and number. There are adjectives that distinguish gender lexically, for example, kúkúm ‘big (fat)’ for feminine gender and súsúm ‘big (fat)’ for masculine gender.
