Adverse Childhood Experiences

The project includes a de-identified dataset of Kenyan adolescents, with variables capturing exposure to various Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), mental health outcomes (PHQ-8 and GAD-7), and sociodemographic characteristics. The R scripts provided cover the full analysis pipeline, including: Psychometric evaluation of the ACEs scale (e.g., reliability, factor analysis), descriptive statistics and prevalence estimates and regression models examining associations between ACEs and mental health outcomes.
