This dataset comprises georeferenced occurrence records of immature Aedes mosquitoes collected during entomological surveys conducted in southern Ghana between 2023 and 2024. The surveys were undertaken to investigate the distribution, breeding ecology, and habitat characteristics of Aedes mosquitoes following the first detection of the invasive species Aedes albopictus in Ghana. Larvae and pupae were collected from natural and artificial water-holding containers in urban and peri-urban communities, reared to adults for morphological identification, and identified to species using standard taxonomic keys. The dataset includes occurrence records for Aedes aegypti, Aedes albopictus, and Aedes vittatus, together with associated spatial, temporal, and habitat information. These records provide valuable baseline data for mosquito surveillance, invasive species monitoring, arbovirus risk assessment, and vector control planning in Ghana.
