AI IN EDUCATION

This study looks at how accessible Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools can help high school students understand difficult subjects better, especially in schools with limited resources. In many developing communities, students face a major challenge: their schools do not have computer labs or formal IT classes. To see if technology could bridge this gap without needing expensive equipment, I set up a structured project over several weeks at a private secondary school in Nigeria. By tracking student test scores, lesson records, and direct student feedback, I compared a group of students using AI assistants with a group learning through traditional methods. The results showed that students using AI tools understood abstract concepts faster, remembered them longer, and felt more confident solving problems on their own. This project proves that even when a school lacks physical infrastructure, smart use of free software can give students an equal chance at academic excellence.
