Air pollution remains a pressing environmental and public health challenges in the world which has caused several death in Africa. This research study addresses a critical knowledge gap by examining air pollution dynamics in communities in Ghana to identify the sources, health effects and evaluate community awareness and attitudes regarding air pollution and the policy gaps.

The goal is to generate evidence based recommendation to guide policies, initiatives and interventions for cleaner air and a sustainable environment.
