Air temperature is measured at 0.1 Hz using a HMP50 temperature & relative humidity probe (Campbell® Scientific Instruments). The HMP50 probe is located in a naturally ventilated 10-plate radiation shield at 5.2 m height. Air temperature in Celsius degrees (°C) is recorded as 5 min averages using a CR200 datalogger (Campbell® Scientific Instruments) and distributed as 1 hour averages (UTC). The value reported for 01:00UTC represents the average over the past hour, and so on (the number of values used to compute the average is given for each time step).
