Anonymised interview transcripts: ICT information explosion in South Africa's digital and print publishing industry

This dataset contains 16 anonymised interview transcripts collected as part of a qualitative study examining the impact of ICT advancements on information explosion within South Africa’s digital and print publishing industry. The study explores how information overload is managed within publishing environments and the strategies used to address challenges associated with rapid digital information growth. All participant identifiers have been removed to ensure confidentiality and ethical compliance. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews and forms the primary empirical material used in the analysis of the associated research article. The dataset is shared to support transparency, reproducibility, and further academic research in the fields of information science, publishing studies, and information and communication technologies (ICTs).
