This protocol describes a prospective scoping review that will map evidence on barriers to cervical cancer screening among women in African countries and assess the acceptability and readiness of women and health workers for AI-assisted or digital cervical cancer screening technologies. It uses the JBI scoping review methodology and will be reported in line with PRISMA-ScR.
