Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most advanced from of technology and this is peculiarly seen to have come to play in the 21st century. It is without doubt that one can asseverate that AI has gone a long way to communicate the advancement of human capabilities at utilizing various means to provide a conducive and convenient society. In the face of this advanced form of technology, the riddle provided is the implication on culture especially African culture. The influence of AI cannot be overemphasized across various spheres and this could be perceived in the light of progression of culture of the people as its influence cannot be neglected or ignored. In advancing this thought, this paper using the evaluation methods examines the contribution of AI to cultural progression with a focus at the sustainability of the African Cultural orientation. The work resolves that, AI could be maximized as a means of sustaining the culture of the people rather than being a bane to the sustainability of the people’s culture. As such, the use of AI is largely encouraged across the culture of the people in preserving their cultural heritage which can undoubtedly outlast the current generation of practitioners of such culture.
