<b>Data set for :Determinants of adoption speed for improved seed potatoes among Kenyan smallholders: A duration analysis</b>

This dataset contains cross-sectional survey data collected from potato farming households in Meru, Nyandarua, Nakuru, and Laikipia counties, Kenya. The data were used to analyze determinants of the timing (duration) of adoption of improved seed potatoes among smallholder farmers. The study applies survival (duration) analysis methods to examine the time to adoption of these seeds, accounting for censored observations among non-adopters. The study includes socio-economic, institutional and market-related factors hypothesized to influence the speed of adoption.
