The dataset for this study was collected to examine the impact of digital health technology adoption on healthcare workers' performance and workload, using the Digital Organizational Innovation (DOI) and Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) frameworks. Data was gathered from healthcare workers in both public and private hospitals in Somalia, focusing on key factors such as the extent of digital health technology adoption (e.g., Electronic Health Records (EHR), telemedicine platforms, mobile health apps) and their perceived usefulness and ease of use. Additionally, the adoption of digital health technology dataset includes self-reported measures of healthcare workers' performance, including patient care quality, efficiency, decision-making, and job satisfaction, as well as perceived workload, including hours worked, task complexity, and stress levels. The data also explores factors related to technology infrastructure (e.g., internet access, training), organizational support (e.g., leadership, training programs), and environmental factors (e.g., government policies, regulatory frameworks). Data was collected using a structured questionnaire administered to 286 healthcare workers across various public and private hospitals, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff. The survey used Likert scale questions to assess the impact of digital health technologies on performance and workload.
