BanglaFakeCard contains 3,962 annotated Bengali news photocards, of which 1,960 are authentic (Real), and 2,002 are fabricated (Fake), collected from public Facebook pages in Bangladesh between July 2024 and June 2026. Each image is annotated with a binary label, a three-tier credibility tier, outlet code, news genre, collector ID, raw EasyOCR text, OCR confidence score, and a cleaned caption. The dataset supports research in multimodal fake news detection, brand impersonation forensics, and low-resource Bengali NLP. Distributed under CC BY 4.0.
