Baseline Facility Survey

Baseline facility data were collected in 2022 from public-sector health facilities in Kisumu County, western Kenya, as part of the SAFI-FP social accountability trial. Trained data collectors conducted structured facility assessments to document facility characteristics, staffing, availability of family planning methods and related supplies, service readiness, equipment, infrastructure, record systems, supervision, and other aspects of family planning service delivery. These data were collected prior to implementation of the social accountability interventions and are intended to characterize baseline facility readiness and service delivery conditions. Data were collected on password-protected and encrypted tablets using the SurveyCTO platform. The public-use dataset contains de-identified facility-level records.
