Baseline provider data were collected in 2022 from family planning providers working in public-sector health facilities in Kisumu County, western Kenya, as part of the SAFI-FP social accountability trial. Trained data collectors administered structured questionnaires to eligible providers to assess provider characteristics, training, family planning service provision, counseling practices, attitudes toward contraceptive methods, perceived barriers to high-quality care, facility work environment, and experiences providing family planning services. Data were collected before implementation of the Community Score Card and Citizen Report Card interventions. Data were collected on password-protected and encrypted tablets using the SurveyCTO platform. The public-use dataset contains de-identified provider-level records.
