Biographical Data on Tanzanian Elites, 1966-1967 Version 1

This study contains biographical data on 398 Tanzanian political elites in the period 1966-1967. Demographic variables provide information on age, religion, sex, ethnicity, education, family status, social class status, work experience, region or province of birth, party membership and position, and income. See the related collection, BIOGRAPHICAL DATA ON KENYAN ELITES, 1966-1967 (ICPSR 5804), which contains the same variables. ICPSR also routinely creates ready-to-go data files along with setups in the major statistical software formats as well as standard codebooks to accompany the data.
