"Biometric Spoofing Fingerprint Dataset"

"Public datasets that include both real and spoofed fingerprints are scarce, obstructing the implementation of secure biometric systems with integrated liveness detection. This dataset aims to address this limitation by providing spoofed fingerprint images. These images were captured during the implementation of the graduation (honours) project \u201cMultimodal Biometric Border Control System\u201d at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Ain Shams University, Egypt. It was used to support the development of a spoofing detection model. The dataset consists of fingerprint images from a single individual, captured using an R307 optical fingerprint sensor. A total of 202 images were collected, 101 real and 101 fake. Real images are not made public for privacy reasons. Three spoofing materials were used to simulate presentation attacks: clay, glue and tape. This dataset is an extension to the FVC2002 and is intended to support research in spoof detection and enhance the robustness of biometric systems. "
