In the child signing project deaf children growing up in a rich signing environment are recorded every 2 weeks if possible. Recordings are made at their homes or other familiar places within the village with caretakers (parents, siblings) and other people. Various unidentified hearing children are in the video as well. This girl's grandfather (SM) is deaf, she grows up next in a compound with many deaf signers (including SA, KB, PU, SU, RD, SR, NG, P1, P2, and P3). She also goes to the same inclusive school as the deaf children in the village Only child of PI.
