Citizen science (CS) - the involvement of non-scientists in research - remains relatively new in many low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). As a result, formal guidelines, institutional support, and established models of participation are often limited. This project investigates how CS initiatives can be effectively implemented in LMIC contexts by analysing lessons learned from the Action Towards Reducing snail-borne Parasitic diseases (ATRAP) project.
