Co-administration of calcium and multiple micronutrient supplements for maternal and newborn hemoglobin and iron status (CaMMS)

The CaMMS Trial is an individually randomized, controlled, non-inferiority trial. The trial’s goal is to evaluate the impact of co-administration of MMS and calcium, relative to separate administration, on hemoglobin and iron status of pregnant women and their infants in Burkina Faso and Pakistan. The trial is registered at clinicaltrials.gov as NCT06568315.
