The supplemental content belongs to a study on the carrying capacity of bats in Africa, that is described in details in the paper:

The content is organized into three folders. The "Mean K0" folder focuses on the calibration of bat carrying capacity taking into account environmental variables that are averaged over a ten-year period. Five environmental parameters for all of Africa are available in csv format, and two Matlab code packages utilise these csv files. The "Monthly K0" folder deals with determining the carrying capacity of bats by integrating environmental factors specific to particular months of the year. R code files are available under "R code for statistics and building regression" for estimating statistics and building regression models.
