This dataset contains thematic and target analyses of 2,056 Pakistani newspaper cartoons (2023–2024) from five national dailies. Using Attardo’s General Theory of Verbal Humor, thematic coding was conducted with GPT-4o, while manual analysis identified political targets and aggressive versus non-aggressive humor to examine media bias and electoral framing.
