AbstractThe enduring linguistic barrier in programming languages necessitates culturally relevant alternatives. This paper presents significant advancements in Codetwi, a conceptual programming language based on Asante Twi. Building upon prior work, this iteration introduces ASCII-compatible keyword and identifier representations (replacing 'ɔ' with 'or' and 'ɛ' with 'er') to enhance immediate usability across diverse computing environments. Crucially, it details the implementation of the `berer` (while) loop, an essential iterative construct, within the language's design and its accompanying web-based simulator. This research explores the trade-offs of ASCII substitution for broader accessibility while reaffirming Codetwi's commitment to fostering digital literacy and local innovation among Twi speakers. The updated simulator serves as a robust proof-of-concept for these new features.
