This study assessed the effectiveness of community-based interventions for the control of measles and cholera in Katsina State, Nigeria, using a retrospective study design covering the period from 2020 to 2023. The research examined the role of public health strategies, community participation, vaccination campaigns, disease surveillance, and sanitation measures in reducing the burden of these infectious diseases. The findings provide evidence to support policy formulation and strengthen public health interventions aimed at preventing and controlling outbreaks in resource-limited settings.
