This dataset supports the manuscript 'Forest–river interfaces shape lobomycosis risk in the Amazon Basin'.
It includes anonymized case–background analytical data used in spatial epidemiological analyses of lobomycosis in the Brazilian Amazon. Environmental variables include landscape composition and configuration metrics, distance to rivers, elevation, and population density.
The dataset includes georeferenced coordinates representing the probable location of infection, as inferred from clinical and epidemiological investigation. These coordinates do not represent participants’ current residential addresses. Direct personal identifiers were removed before public deposition.
The repository also includes the native R script used to reproduce the statistical analyses and figure generation, as well as a README file describing the variables, data structure, and analytical procedures.
