DescriptionThis dataset contains longitudinal data from adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) aged 13 to 22 years living in two settings in Kenya and was used to evaluate the impact of the Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored and Safe (DREAMS) partnership on common mental disorders (CMD). The dataset includes repeated measures of socio-demographic characteristics, DREAMS invitation, mental health outcomes measured using the Shona Symptom Questionnaire(SSQ), HIV-related and sexual and reproductive health indicators, and socio-demographic characteristics. The data support causal analyses of the relationship between the DREAMS programme and mental health outcomes (CMD) among AGYW and provide a valuable resource for research on adolescent mental health, HIV prevention, and evaluation of complex public health interventions in Kenya.
