Dataset-Ghana_Japan

This dataset provides the coded curriculum data underlying the comparative analysis in "Comparative Analysis of Intended Algebra Curricula in Ghana and Japan based on Content Progression and Cognitive Demand" (Mireku, 2026). It includes all 33 Junior High School algebra learning indicators from Ghana's Mathematics Common Core Programme (NaCCA, 2019), each coded to a single Bloom's Revised Taxonomy level with a documented coding rationale, alongside 16 grade-level learning objectives from Japan's Course of Study for Lower Secondary School Mathematics (MEXT, 2017), translated into English and coded to the same taxonomy for comparability.
