This dataset supports the findings of the study titled "Earned Value Management Metrics in Ghanaian University Construction: Structural Relationships and Empirical Benchmarks," published in Construction Management and Economics.

The dataset comprises project-level Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics collected from 102 completed government-funded construction projects across five public universities in Ghana. Projects were completed between 2015 and 2024 and include lecture halls, student hostels, libraries, laboratories, administrative blocks, and staff bungalows.

The following variables are included for each project:
- Budget at Completion (BAC) — total approved budget
- Planned Value (PV) — scheduled work value at completion
- Earned Value (EV) — value of work actually completed
- Actual Cost (AC) — total costs incurred
- Cost Performance Index (CPI = EV/AC)
- Schedule Performance Index (SPI = EV/PV)

All monetary values are in Ghana Cedis (GHC), converted to thousands (GHC '000).

Two ordinary least squares regression models were estimated using JASP:
- Model 1: AC as a function of BAC and EV
- Model 2: EV as a function of PV and BAC

The dataset is deposited to support transparency, reproducibility, and future research in construction project management, particularly in sub-Saharan African contexts.

Due to confidentiality agreements with participating universities and the Ghana Ministry of Education, raw project-level data are restricted. Anonymised aggregated data are available upon reasonable request to the corresponding author.
