This paper presents a validated dataset collected from 1012 participants representing students, professors, and administrative staff from Algerian higher education institutions. The aim is to assess digital readiness in the context of academic and administrative digital transformation. The measurement tool was developed based on a systematic literature review and expert interviews, covering four main dimensions: digital infrastructure, skills, top management support, and change readiness, along with three mediating variables: e-learning, e-library, and e-administration. Validity and Reliability were ensured using Exploratory factor analysis (EFA), Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), Convergent and Discriminant Validity tests, and internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha and split-half). The dataset is available in coded and structured versions, ready for use in comparative quantitative research or institutional evaluation applications. It also complements an unpublished dissertation titled "A Multidimensional Assessment of Digital Readiness in Algerian Higher Education and Scientific Research Institutions," providing a valuable dataset for researchers and policymakers seeking to support data-driven decisions to promote digital transformation in the higher education sector.
