Discussing teaching/learning methods in a complex educational context

International audience This paper describes the state of research concerning an international instruction collaboration between Italy and Tanzania. During the last five years of the project it has been possible to detect some of the educational aspects that might have a negative impact especially regarding mathematics. Starting from this analysis, it was elaborated a peer education proposal as a possible didactic methodology suitable to be used in the school context. Research was made and the last results show that the aforementioned methodology could be particularly useful in this specific educational environment.
