A ready-to-use, spatially disaggregated housing-quality dataset covering all 16 regions and 261 districts of Ghana. It accompanies the peer-reviewed article published in Habitat International and is intended to be used alongside that paper, which documents the data source, index construction, thresholds and limitations in full. This dataset is a companion to the original article published in Habitat International. The indicator definitions, adequacy thresholds, weighting procedure, validity checks and data limitations are set out in full in the paper. Users must consult it when interpreting or citing these values. In particular, the MHQI is an access- and threshold-based measure of material housing adequacy and does not capture service reliability, affordability or tenure security. See the paper's data-limitations section before drawing policy conclusions.   Source paper: Aha, B., Abass, A. S., Alimo, P. K., & Ehwi, R. J. (2026).
