Dryland communities managing climate shocks: Response

The messages were derived from interactions with elders and other people linving and working in the dryland areas of northern Kenya This poster summarises some strategies used by people in East Africa's drylands to deal with climate and environmental shocks. It focuses on the emergency 'response' phase. It served as background to a 'climate activation' session at the Africa Climate Week in Nairobi on 8 September 2023.
