EcoMine Observatory

Open-source multi-sensor screening tools for the environmental footprint of mining in the Middle East and Africa, built on Google Earth Engine and the opengeos stack. Produces spectral indices, change indicators with site-adaptive thresholds, and machine-readable provenance. Emits screening signals for expert review, not detections, attributions or compliance findings. If you use EcoMine Observatory, please cite it as below. This is an early (v0.1.0) research tool. As of this release it has one supervised-classifier accuracy figure, from a single site (Kangala, South Africa); that figure has not been shown to transfer to other sites. Cite it as early-stage software, not as a validated detector.
