Economic optimization of fertilizer recommendations under crop-response and financial constraints in sub-Saharan Africa: Data and R code

This repository accompanies the manuscript: "Economic optimization of fertilizer recommendations under crop-response and financial constraints in sub-Saharan Africa" The repository contains harmonized datasets and reproducible R scripts used to: optimize economically optimal nutrient application rates, evaluate fertilizer adoption feasibility under fertilizer-budget and minimum value-cost ratio (VCR) constraints, compare fertilizer-form allocation strategies using least-cost linear programming, reproduce the tables, figures, and supplementary outputs presented in the manuscript. The archive includes input datasets, analysis scripts, documentation, and a master script for reproducing the complete analytical workflow.
