Effect of Millennium Development Authority(MiDA) Intervention on Productivity of Maize Farmers in the Afram Basin of Ghana

This dataset was produced to study effect of Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) on productivity of maize farmers in the Afram basin of Ghana." This study was undertaken by Afia Fosua Agyekum, a student in Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness at the University of Ghana, as a part of requirements toward Master of Philosophy Degree in Agricultural Economics. This dataset contains information about age gender, level of education, household size, marital status, farming experience, agricultural production, and inputs use of maize farmers. Around 300 maize farming households, both participating and not-participating in MiDA intervention were randomly selected and interviewe d from Kwahu North, Kwahu East, Sekyere Central and Ejura Sekyeredumase districts of Afram basin. 18, 18 Subject: null Type: Acknowledgements Notes: This study was made possible through the support of the Ghana Strategy Support Program (GSSP).
