This report examines the relationship between environmental sanitation and public health through the experiences of BuzStopBoys Ghana, a community-based volunteer initiative dedicated to transforming unclean public spaces into healthier environments. Drawing on volunteer participation and community clean-up activities, the report highlights the role of civic engagement, environmental responsibility, and public awareness in promoting healthier communities. It also discusses key lessons on community ownership, sustainable sanitation practices, and the contribution of volunteerism to public health improvement in Ghana.
