In line with Egypt’s strategic vision for administrative reform and sustainable development as outlined in “Egypt Vision 2030,” this project aims to enhance judicial efficiency and achieve comprehensive justice by integrating modern technological tools—most notably remote sensing technology and geographic information systems (GIS). These technologies enable the integration of court-related websites with diverse descriptive information, facilitating a deeper understanding of the spatial patterns, relationships, and geographical context of courts. This highlights their critical role in providing logistical support tailored to the workload and operational intensity of each court. By leveraging these tools, the project significantly enhances planning efficiency and supports decision-makers in managing the Egyptian judicial system. Recognizing the importance of these technologies, the project team has developed a GIS for Egyptian courts. This involved constructing a rich geographic database that allows for the clear and intuitive analysis of the number and distribution of courts across governorates. The organized and accessible data enables spatial statistical analyses to assess the adequacy of courts and judges relative to population sizes in each governorate. It also evaluates the efficiency of appellate court locations and examines the relationship between courts and surrounding services to enhance crisis management strategies. A predictive data analysis model was also designed to identify and anticipate factors contributing to rising divorce rates, taking into account economic, social, and environmental variables. This model serves as an applied framework for analyzing divorce cases and can be extended to other crimes, offering insights into their geographical distribution and enabling decision-makers to anticipate issue-specific trends. This proactive approach supports planning for increased departmental capacity in courts where necessary. Additionally, remote sensing technologies were employed to monitor key variables, such as temperature, human comfort indices, and vegetation cover, to inform the analysis of divorce cases as a case study. These tools are also instrumental in tracking the implementation timelines for court construction projects. To maximize the utility of the project’s outputs, an interactive dashboard and geographic electronic platform were developed. These tools provide the Ministry of Justice with advanced capabilities for planning, logistical support, and crisis management. As a dynamic and forward-looking initiative, the project will undergo regular updates and will be re-published to ensure its continued relevance and effectiveness.
