This compilation is the second volume of experiences shared by Nigeria’s Immunization Agenda 2030 (IA2030) Collaborative, an initiative to strengthen routine immunization in a country where an estimated 4 million children miss out on vaccinations annually. Experiences shared (18 July 2024) (1.0). 2023. doi.org This second volume presents aditional unedited accounts from over 270 health workers across Nigeria, offering insights into the realities of delivering immunization services nationwide. Participants span all 36 states and over 230 local government areas. Their unfiltered, unedited narratives provide a view of how health workers from all levels of the health system describe their immunization challenges. The volume is structured around two key questions: Health workers describe specific instances where they implemented creative solutions to local immunization challenges. Participants explain their reasons for joining the Nigeria Immunization Collaborative, identify their most significant immunization challenges, discuss why these issues persist, and express how they expect the Collaborative to assist them. This collection serves as a resource for understanding the practical realities of immunization efforts in Nigeria’s diverse settings. Nature of content: This publication contains personal testimonials, views, and contributions from participants in The Geneva Learning Foundation (TGLF) programmes.
