FIRST STEPS IN MARIAMA

International audience MariamaA hypothesis and information analysis managerThis program was developed to meet the needs of lexical comparisons between two African languages (and varieties of languages) used in the Sahelo- Saharan zone in Africa. But, the project evolved very fast towards the implementation of a helping tool oriented towards research, the making of documentary resources constructed from original information gathered in the database and towards a generalization of its functions allowing the program to be used for any project in comparative linguistics, independent of the nature of the languages taken into consideration.
