This course aims to provide a starting point for students and researchers from the Humanities and Social Sciences interested in learning Python. This course is for beginners. After completing the four modules, you can continue learning by participating in other open online courses, joining a Carpentries workshop, working through available open educational resources, or joining a local community of practice.

This introductory course is offered as part of South African Centre for Di… (SADiLaR)'s ESCALATOR programme. A maximum of five participants are selected to join the virtual training. Training material is made available on the SADiLaR Moodle instance. The lessons are offered over four 1.5 hour-sessions spanning four weeks. It is augmented by virtual study group sessions every two weeks.

SADiLaR is a national centre supported by the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) through the South African Research Infrastructure Roadmap initiative.

Version 1.0 files include only the backup files from Moodle.
