In this ceremony traditional prayers or libations are said, two rams are sacrificed, there are several speeches and dances. The proceedings were in Avatime. Several people take part, most notably the Gbadzeme chief and his linguist, the chief linguist, the paramount chief of Avatime who sits to the side for the entire proceedings and lets his linguist speak in his place.
