This is a data analytics project where we dive into the quality of life of African countries using dataset from Kaggle. An interactive dashboard was created in Power BI to visualize the dataset and its KPIs # Data Portfolio: Quality of Life in African Countries --- ## Table of Content - Introduction - Project Objectives - Data Source - Tools used - Data cleaning and transformation - Exploratory Analysis - Dax measures Used - Dashboard Output - Insight & Conclusion ## Introduction This portofolio project was targeted at providing solution for people who want to travel, invest or get comprehensive knowledge about the Quality of Life in African Countries. Insights derived form the projects can help travelers or investors in making data-driven decisions about the choice of country to visit or invest. Quality of life was measured with seven (7) indicators namely: **Cost of living, Safety Index, Healthcare Quality Index, Purchasing power, Property price to income ratio, pollution level and traffic commute time.** Insights extracted indicate that only one African country (South Africa) had **high** qaulity of life out of 53 countries. Djibouti had the highest cost of living whiles Libya had the lowest. Avearge Cost of living in African was 29.63/100. The safest country to live in Africa was Sao Tome and Principe. Guinea had a perfect 👌 healthcare index. Quality of life in African countires varies and is highly dependent on these indicators. ## Objectives 1. Clean the data 2. Create a new column for sub-regions corresponding to each of the countries 3. Extract only the countries from the African Continent 4. Connect data to Power BI 5.
