This app is build for the purpose of analyzing traffic signals around Kumasi one of the cities in Ghana Africa # Pulse Kumasi — Full Project (Backend + Frontend) Everything in one place: ``` pulse-kumasi/ backend/ Node/Express + PostgreSQL API (Stage 1) frontend/ React Native (Expo) app — onboarding + auth (Stage 2) ``` ## Run order 1. **Backend** — `cd backend`, follow `backend/README.md` (`cp .env.example .env`, `npm install`, `npm run migrate`, `npm run seed`, `npm run dev`). Runs on `localhost`. 2. **Frontend** — `cd frontend`, follow `frontend/README.md` (`npm install`, `npx expo start`). Confirm `frontend/src/api/config.js` points at the backend (defaults work for iOS simulator / Android emulator; set your LAN IP for a physical device). Both must be running at the same time — the app talks to the API over HTTP. See each folder's own README for full endpoint lists and screen details.
