## π About AIMS Cameroon
**AIMS Cameroon** (African Institute for Mathematical Sciences) is a Centre of Excellence for postgraduate training in mathematical sciences, research, and public engagement in STEM. Established in **2013** in Limbe, Cameroon, with the support of the Government of Cameroon, AIMS Cameroon is the **fourth centre** of the pan-African AIMS Global Network.

AIMS is endorsed by **NEPAD**, the **African Union**, and **TED** as an idea big enough to change the world. The pan-African network spans five Centres of Excellence across South Africa, Senegal, Ghana, Cameroon, and Rwanda β with **over 2,200 graduates** now active in data science, research, entrepreneurship, education, and ICT globally.
