This system bridges raw farm-gate characteristics-such as altitude and processing methods-with cupping quality outcomes to guide data-driven purchasing decisions. ## **Problem Statement** Coffee procurement managers often face high volatility in lot quality, inconsistent post-harvest processing outcomes, and a lack of quantitative clarity regarding which micro-climate parameters reliably drive high-cup scores (benchmark: $\ge 84$). Without predictive tools, sourcing decisions rely heavily on historical intuition rather than empirical lot profiling, exposing buyers to margin risks and quality slippage. ## **Solution** A comprehensive, 5-stage data engineering and machine learning pipeline that: 1. **Simulates & Normalizes** realistic regional agricultural telemetry and sensory evaluation metrics. 2. **Performs Rigorous Data Auditing** to handle missingness, validate schema integrity, and standardize regional taxonomies (e.g., classifying Gedeo Zone under the South Ethiopia Regional State). 3. **Conducts Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)** to isolate top-performing regional processing clusters. 4. **Deploys a Predictive Linear Regression Model** quantifying the marginal impact of altitude and processing style on final cup quality ($R^2 = 0.41$). ## **Strategic Recommendations** * **Prioritize High-Altitude Washed Lots:** Data indicates that high-altitude Gedeo Zone Washed lots lead quality performance (Avg: 84.32), followed by Guji Honey lots (Avg: 84.28).
